Just to put this out there. I understand that some people may not be as fond of this episode because of how.forceful it might come across. I dont blame Applejack for wanting to protect her familys livelihood. Those apples are important to her, her family, and all of Ponyville. I dont take issue with that. Defense of home and property against unwelcome animal guests is not immediately wrong, I would imagine. Thats not my problem here. What I had a problem with was the five practically cornering and forcing Fluttershy to do something she didnt want to do. I dont think the lesson here is be kind to animals no matter the personal sacrifice made. I think the lesson is if you believe something in your heart to be right, do it, and follow through with it, even if it disagrees with how your friends feel; if theyre true friends, they wont try to force you to change your mind, or pressure you, or guilt-trip you, and by the same token, you dont do that to them either. Applejack had a right to defend her home. But I dont think they were right to force Fluttershy to do something that she didnt feel right about. Had the others gone through with attempting to stop the vampire fruit bats but left Fluttershy out of it respectfully (after hearing her out of course, to at least consider other possibilities).Im just saying, I think that might have been the better course.\r
